Job Description

PubMatic is a global ad-tech leader delivering real-time programmatic solutions. Based in Pune, the company seeks an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to join its Network Operations Center. The role focuses on ensuring high availability of critical ad-serving infrastructure, handling alerts, and driving AI-enabled automation for faster incident resolution. Candidates will work cross-functionally with engineering and DevOps teams to maintain robust, scalable systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor infrastructure, applications, and network using Grafana, Nagios, and internal dashboards. Triage and resolve P1/P2 alerts, provide Tier-1 support and escalation. Collaborate with Engineering, AdOps, and DevOps for troubleshooting real-time ad serving systems. Leverage AI-driven tools for log analysis, RCA, and automation of recurring issues. Document incidents, maintain runbooks, and ensure smooth shift handovers.

Requirements

1–3 years experience in NOC, infrastructure monitoring or production support. Strong Linux fundamentals (CLI, processes, memory, networking). Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Nagios or Prometheus. Ability to write clear incident reports and follow ITIL/NOC processes.

Nice to Have

Exposure to AI-assisted monitoring or log-analysis assistants. Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration.
