Job Description

Join Netomi's remote-first engineering team as a Java Backend Engineer to develop AI-powered customer support platforms and work on scalable backend architecture, distributed systems, and rapid product delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality backend systems for Netomi's AI-powered customer support platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, reliability, and performance of backend systems. Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Java, with a focus on backend development. Experience with cloud-native development, specifically AWS. Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker). Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in areas of AI, machine learning, and software development.

Nice to Have

Experience with multitenant or SaaS platform architecture. Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and deployments. Exposure to DevOps workflows and cloud operations. Understanding of enterprise backend security and performance tuning 🚀
